Price includes four 90-minute Beginners Yoga Foundations classes plus one month unlimited yoga (runs concurrently with series).

Description:

In module one, students can expect to learn about the first limbs of yoga, the foundations that support the other six limbs. Behavior, social conduct, self-discipline, and personal care will be discussed and thematically interwoven throughout the class. Breathwork and physical postures will be introduced, and the participants will move through a concise, slow flow to practice what they've learned.

In the second module, students will review what they learned in module one. Additionally, they will learn about the third and fourth limbs of yoga: physical postures and breath awareness. Sun salutation variations will be taught, and students will connect their breath to their movement. The class will conclude with a gentle synchronous flow at all levels.

Module three continues the learning journey, revisiting the knowledge gained in modules one and two. Students learn to control their senses and turn inward. New breathwork, postures and drishti (single-point focus) are introduced. The students move through an all-level flow and close with a guided meditation.

In module four, we will wrap up the Beginner's Yoga series. Throughout the instruction period, the teacher will thematically integrate the six limbs of yoga into the students' mind-body class. The students will learn the importance of stillness and continuous focus as they engage in mantra and visualization meditation.
