Description:

Learn how breath (pranayama), asana, chanting, and meditation impact mental health through the nervous system. Then let’s practice what we learn to embody the energetic effects. 

Goals

Learn about the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems and their relationship to anxiety and depression. As we practice, pause to reflect on the energetic impact you experience in the body.

  • What is the Polyvagal nerve, and how do I activate it

  • Understand how the nervous system is related to mental health

  • Learn how to up-regulate and down-regulate the nervous system with Yoga
